About Bob
Bob Pearce joined the Army as a 16 year old apprentice chef, was commissioned before his 20th birthday and left 37 years later as a Colonel in the Royal Logistic Corps. He has commanded soldiers in training organisations, NATO delpoyments and at war.
His experiences took him into the NHS on a Leadership Programme and then to the Independent School’s sector where he worked as a Bursar in two Schools before taking up his current role as Company Secretary at Rowcroft Hospice.
A masters degree in Leadership and Management was followed by a masters in Corporate Governance, in which he is now studying for a PhD, with a focus on the contribution made to Board discourse by the Company Secretary.
He is a keen triathlete and enjoys the peace and quiet of living in the North Devon countryside.
